A TOE-CURLING LISTEN

I listened in one sitting, so I guess I kind of loved it. The ending was a little disappointing, but the spice was piping hot. Wolfgang Milliken nearly killed me!!! 😮‍💨

And I’m shook, Like what did I just listen to but also, I was invested. Interesting voice/narration which was new for me but so was this whole premise so YOLO, let your freak flag fly and enjoy the monster smut!

Whoa

Idk what I was expecting exactly, but I was blown away by this one. It was refreshing to see a strong female lead who doesn't instantly fall in love, instead, I found it very well paced, steamy, and it even had a couple of unexpected twists.

There were some scenes and intense moments that really made me worry. I laughed, I cringed, I got a little bothered, and was satisfied at how it all ended, yet it still left me interested in finding out what happens next.

All in all a very good read and listen. I loved the Lead male voice and I thought the narrator did a fantastic job. That guy deserves a raise!

There were a couple damsel in distress scenes I thought could have been a little better (like why doesn't she just throw some dang salt?) but it was nice to see she didn't go for the obvious solutions that most authors might have used (or over used), so, I couldn't even be too upset about it, and after reading it, I was glad FMC, didn't take the easy way out.

It’s a little dark and a little not and I absolutely ADORE it. The narrators did a fantastic job and I love how well written it was, the detail is amazing.

world building

how the story builds the world while progressing the story. the voice actors playing the male/female parts with in the chapters makes its more emersive. really enjoyed it.

Absolutely wonderful

This is one of my favorite books. I was so excited to hear that it was being published as an audible and it has met every expectation and more. I can’t wait for the next books!

A spicy take on an old school favorite 💖

The story and pace was simple, easy and flowed well together. The spicy scenes were hot and the chemistry between Orpheus and Rhea was delicious and electric! This was my first audiobook and I loved it. Thank you Opal Reyne, I can’t wait to finish the rest of your series ☺️

Love this series!!

Absolutely love this series. The only thing that I don’t like or maybe I should say enjoy is that there’s so much detail and information is drawn out except for when she is at the palace that is wrapped up nice and tight and over super quick. Or at least compared to everything else. It is.

This series is only going to get better and I’m so happy there was an audiobook so I could listen while working. I can’t wait for the rest to be out in audiobook form! Merikh has my heart and I just can’t wait to hear him 😤
