History shapes those who travel through it.

Determined to save the antiques store she has inherited from ruin after the unexplained disappearance of her parents, Sarah Lester discovers a jumbled collection of vintage postcards that leads her on a journey through time.

Unprepared for the story the postcards weave about their reclusive former owner, Sarah’s life is thrown into disarray as she is transported to Victorian London, colonial New Zealand, and to the British Raj in 19th-century India.

Sarah’s journey through time could solve the mystery of her parents’ disappearance. But one impossible question remains: What will staying in the past do to her future?

I love the depth of descriptions of the items and the surroundings in each layer of the book.
Good Listen!

Time Traveled WORTHY!

I did like the story but there were some things I wish were explained like the maid. When her made her first jump, she came back and found out that she was deathly sick. Was it because of disease... modern days?
Did she ever recover... I mean all the stuff that she did really messed up the timeline... i think they could have covered that a little better...

Very enjoyable and second listening is even better. Missed some details the first time.
The series is one that I believe can be listened to every year or so

My second Listen

Although I enjoyed the story when she went back in time. I never did figure out what the post cards had to do with anything. Nor did it make sense when she went back why certain objects sent her back and forth. Why did she always look like the person in the past? Why did she disappear from the future but the people in the past were just left without memory? Why did she reappear in future wearing clothes from the past? wouldn't the person in the past be naked? where did her clothes go when she bounced back and forth? the overall story was good but way too many questions and those are just a few I have. I got 2nd book just to see if some of these questions can be answered.

I enjoyed the concept of this story, the characters and the reader. The adventure has begun and I am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
