With the King of Winter's vile threats hanging over me, I have two choices: Marry Prince Vale—or run and, most likely, die.

Then again, perhaps I'll die anyway when the King of Winter learns I killed a vampire prince...

I might even want to die if I started a war between the fae and the vampires, but I can't just turn away from the trouble I've created. Nor take away the honorable prince's dream to find his fated mate. So I accept Vale's protection under one condition: We form a marriage of convenience.

Once the turmoil I've created calms, the prince assures me that we'll find a way for me to flee without recourse. I'll finally get to be free.

But there are a few things that I didn't count on... Like how Vale grows on me, and how the desire between us blossoms. Or how the rising rebellion makes things more difficult.

Most of all, I didn't count on discovering so many buried secrets. One in particular that strikes me straight in the heart: that the frigid halls of Frostveil Castle are where I've been meant to be all along.

A Lord of Snow and Greed is a dual POV fae fantasy romance filled with court intrigue, secrets, steamy romance, and adventure. If you like the twists and turns of Throne of Glass and the court drama of Game of Thrones, you'll love this installment in The Winter Court Series.

The explicit sex scenes were unnecessary. There can be good romance without all of the vulgar smut. I have read good romance that allowed the reader to use their imagination.

Great surprises/cliffhangers

I enjoyed both book 1 &2 the second book see Neeve and Vale's relationship grow and experience challenges, mostly from lack of communication. Neeve discovers more about the castle's secrets and prepaires for potential attacks from Vampire assassins. When she discovers that Roar had known who she was when they met, she sets out to confront him. While this story has some twists and turns, the fore shadowing doesn't really allow for unexpected surprises. I listened & read books 1 & 2 back to back and look forward to book 3.

Book 2 the FMC grows stronger and discovers where she comes from and who she can truly trust with her story

The next book comes out in a week and I wish I’d held out a couple more days before finishing this one- I don’t want to wait!!

So freaking good!

Such an refreshing Romantacy with wonderful side characters, exciting action, slow burn romance with a sprincal of spice. The performance by both narrators is good and keeps the story alive and interesting. I feel the plot, characters development, world building and romance is very well balanced which makes the series a very fun read especially is you are new to the genre. For others like myself who love Fantasy Romance the plot might feel too predictable for some. I like this however because it feels wonderfully familiar and nostalgic yet still held my interests. So therefore I love the series so far.

I absolutely love this series especially if you are new to Romantacy!

I only listened because I got books 1 and 2 together. On the plus side, this book at least gets Neve to a HFN in her romance. Unfortunately, that’s about the only positive thing I can say about the plot. Everything else was nonsensical palace politics and folks playing at being rebels. And did I think book 1 was slow? At this rate, this is going to be a five, or even ten, book series. I wish I’d stopped before 1.

At least the accents got dialed down
