Blessed by the heart of these prayers
I listen to these prayers at night and find great comfort in them. I find it sad that so many of the written prayers I come across today are shallow and self centered. These prayers drove me to desire a deeper life with God.

While I realize the narrator represents the Author of the original book,
in my mind, and as a woman, I was expecting a female narrator. Since the book has been rewritten for an audience of this generation I would have enjoyed a female narrator more.

Thoughtful Prayers
I enjoyed listening to the Dairy of Private Prayer. The prayers provided a deeper thoughtfulness for me. They served as a reminder to what God speaks in his word.

Prayers in Your Pocket
These updated prayers originally written by John Baillie are beautiful and will uplift your spirit through confession and praise. I enjoy listening to them as I drive in the car or do mindless work as a way to connect with God. Well worth an Audible credit! You’ll listen to it over and over.
