A good continuation.

I appreciate the continued dedication to keeping the series cozy and light-hearted. There was a small bit more conflict/violence in this book but most of that is because Bailyn is now an adventurer. The less direct godly involvement/POV the better in my mind so that was appreciated as well. If you enjoyed the first book you'll like this one as it's more of the same. The relative quick second release was nice but hope the author doesn't rush to get books out and keep to the standard he has set with quality. The pace was comfortable and didn't lag or rush although some will probably say it's slow. This is a slow burn, heartwarming series though so their opinions would be moot. A lot less emphasis on our MC's abilities and stats worked out nicely. To be honest the series might be better out without a game system anyways.

Great performance and another enjoyable story

Best kind of cross between slice of life and LitRPG. You should pick this one up.

Like a warm hug

Good people, having a good time, in an interesting setting. Makes me think of LG Estrella and Drew Hayes, but with lighter stakes.

A brewtiful sequel!

Craft brewing, angry dwarves, dad puns, and a primadonna goat with a mouth that would make the saltiest sailor blush. This book isn’t heavy on combat, and errs more towards the fun and cozy side of the LitRPG genre, but don’t let that stop you. It’s a riot and absolutely an incredibly fun listen!

Great brewskis!

Christian Gilliland does an excellent job and probably adds to my perception of the story. Continue to follow Peter in his quest to bring great beer to the dwarves. Almost makes me want to try his latest creation if it didn't sound like 3.2 beer was awesome in comparison. Still a fun story picking up where the first book left off.

brewing Up a bridge so good

Blowing up a bridge so good and allowing the story to grow we're introduced to some new characters and a lot of good foreshadowing as well as pushing the forward the story in a way that has some really bad dad jokes Good interpersonal turmoil and good familyMore people are being pushed into the game andAre pushing back

Seriously fun cozy gamelit adventure!

I found Brewful Life was just as fun as the first book. With even more character and world building and this time Pete has to get the brewery back into the good gracious of the Brewers Guild if he's to take brewing to the next level, he's already done a lot with his tools and knowledge. By doing just a few simple things, no brainers really, like cleaning up the brewing room to deter mold growth and spoilage and also adding carbonation into the draft, then bottling it for a longer shelf life. But there's still so much more that can be done, like for instance the flavor!
It's only with the the backing of the guild that Pete's brewery can enter any contest and of course winning! Which will give them notoriety they need to sweep the Continent by force and improve the beer industry! But I get ahead of myself, as I expected the next book will tell us more!
Don't forget the cozy has recipes, only a few but the all of 'em have beer as the key ingredient for the flavoring... And wow Christian J Gilliland is sublime!
