Savage but overall lighthearted.
This story really shown in terms of world building and character developement. While perhaps there was room in the series for more wrenching twists and melancholy loss, it ended up with its own ashes in what was honestly a delightful story.
It was fluff, but I loved it. Great message too.

Best series I have read in ages!
I brought the first 3 in a bundle on a whim and I am so glad I did. I have gobbled all 6 books up. Please tell me there will be more!!!
