Claimings, Tails, and Other Alien Artifacts

Claimings, Book 1

By: Lyn Gala

Narrated by: John Solo

Liam loves his life as a linguist and trader on the Rownt homeworld, but he has ignored his heart and sexual needs for years. After escaping the horrors of war, he wants a boring life. He won't risk letting anyone come too close because he won't risk letting anyone see his deeply submissive nature. For him, submission comes with pain. Life burned that lesson into his soul from a young age.

This fear keeps him from noticing that the Rownt trader Ondry cares for him. Ondry may not understand humans, but he recognizes a wounded soul, and his need to protect Liam is quickly outpacing his common sense. They may have laws, culture, and incompatible genitalia in their way, but Ondry knows that he can find a way to overcome all that if he can just overcome the ghosts of Liam's past. Only then can he take possession of a man he has grown to respect.

Contains mature themes.

A very enjoyable beginning.

The truest form of an alien encounter book, including all of the language and cultural fumbles you would expect from encountering a different species, while still being a sweet story with wonderful characters. I enjoyed the extras at the end that till parts of the book from different perspectives. A satisfying start to a series.

loved it

I had hoped that the audiobook would be as good as the book it self is and it's even better.
can't wait for the next instalment.

love this series

this is one of my audible repeats, i can listen to this series over and over. it is a very comforting and sweet love story, and hot too! love it, want more of it! 💜❤️💜

Wonderful Alien Fiction

I do love a fully fleshed out foreign system, and John Solo was fantastic. He always takes some getting used to but he pulls out all the stops here. His cadence plus Gala's tight writing makes this a treat!

Love everything about this

Listened to this one this time around. I love this book. I love this series. I love this author. I love this narrator. The creativity around an entire species of alien, planet, customs, culture is astonishing. It is so cool that this author is able to imagine a world so different to our own but be able to put humans in it. I love scifi and this author does it amazingly.
