I really loved this book. I may have to listen again. Thanks Mike, please write a sequel to this. It was great! Love your way of giving a history lesson only the way you can.

this is a wonderful book that really brings the reader in. The stories Mike shares are amazing and helps put life in perspective.

Little bit of guessing, little bit of autobiograph

The book is great and Mike Rowe's voice is perfect. The chapters are laid out with a story in the beginning leaving the listener to guess who or what piece of history be or pop culture he is telling the tale about. The second half of the chapters is Mike relating the aforementioned story to his life in an autobiographical style. I will certainly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Mike.
