This book is so special

I love everything about this story. I felt so emotional Liston this story. My heart was breaking for them. I wanted them to get back together so badly. Love this story.

Romance and action

This was a well written and fun fantasy romance. I enjoyed the creative take on sleeping beauty, which was totally unique and different than anything else I’ve read or listened to. I loved the tension build up between characters and all the witty banter.

Excellent and fully satisfying

I could not stop listening, laughing and enjoying this book! It has the perfect mixture of romance, mystery and excitement. The characters are robust and enjoyable. The main heroine is strong and figures out exactly what she wants prior to the “oh I am an idiot and messed it up” phase that’s so common. Just loved this book. I’m going to listen to this book again and have already purchased several other box sets from this author to listen to.

This would be a wonderful story, if someone would put the FMC in the time out chair.

I miss strong FMC, I have more not finished books in my library than I ever have. I am so sick of judgmental, whiny, ignorant FMC. every story, starts the same. The MMC is always rumored to be a brutal monster, the FMC always acts like a spoiled brat. FMC always act as though their better than the MMC because of some stupid moral compass, usually during the middle of a war. FMC wants to stomp up and down about wanting to be told everything, then causes some kind of disaster because they are anti violence regardless of who has tk die for her opinions. She has had a horrible life in the fay court, because they treated her unfairly as a halfling yet she walks around likes shes better than the Elfen people. her whining is made even worse, by the fact she has to state she's grown several times each chapter.

I loved it!!!

it was great to hear the names from Dragons Rising. I really miss Nix.

Delightfully Unexpected

I love the story, but even more so how it was written. The wording brought many ideas to mind for my artwork, which was delightfully unexpected. Though the outcome was expected, the story was a beautiful twist on a classic tale.

Fantastic!

So many ups and downs...I was regularly yelling at my speaker out of frustration! lol I loved the descriptions and the journey Alisha took me on.

Fantastic Twist to the Retelling

Wow! I really did enjoy this book - it is the first one I have read by this author and I am so impressed! Since it is a standalone book instead of a series, I wasn't expecting the characters to be so well-developed, but you could really get a sense of who they were as individuals...and the banter between the FMC & MMC was hilarious! I wish there was a series. because I enjoyed the characters so much-I would love to read more adventures!

Narration was really good for the audiobook. The accents sounded realistic, yet easy to understand. I loved that there were two actors for the FMC & MMC as it really brought a lot of realism to the dual POV for the book.

I have already bought another book and series by this author because I can already tell I enjoy her writing style...and can't wait to hear more of her dragon stories as well!

I LOVED this story ( I ended up buying the book as well). I didn’t think I would like hearing two different narrators, but I actually loved it! Gary has a wonderful voice, so how could you not, ;)

Better than I expected

Better than I expected. Both narrators did a good job. I wish it was more a duet type read though.. Gary suffered a little on the female voice, but still did decent.
