Miranda Honfleur is amazing

I wasn’t sure when I started this book if I would like it as much as I love her Blade and Rose series but I do! It is a great story. I love the romance of it all! The narration was wonderful as well! Another Win from Miranda Honfleur!

narrator did a great job. Story was perfect. It kept me interested and entertained throughout. Miranda Honfleur is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, second only to Sarah J maas!

I love it!!

I definitely thought there was going to be more action with it being a Fey book but i ended up loving it just how it was! I laughed with the characters and they were relatable, even the bad guy! I love love love this book and can’t wait for more adventures with these characters!

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this story. Good world building, sometimes predictable. Steam was subtle, but worked well with the story. Will definitely put other books by this author on my wishlist.

loved the story line can't wait for the book 2. What I don't like is you catch us 9n the first audible yet the next 2 books r kindle. It does make me angry.

I really liked it but I was still confused

I like a fantasy romance and this gives you everything you'd want, a journey, character development, and an interesting world. The biggest problem I had with it was how confused I'd get about names, places and concepts. If I had read this rather than listened it might have been easier to follow.

A great story

What a great story. This my first book by this author and now I am hooked. It was filled with truth, courage and love. Alessandra was known to be a bit feisty at times. Her father decided to arrange marriages for his 2 daughters. Except he wanted to pair Alessandra with her sisters love. She would have none of it. She decided to trade and let Bianca have her happiness. She would marry the dark elf Veron. At first all she could do was try to think of ways to get out of it. Veron was raised by his mother to obey her since she was queen. He decided he had to make it work. As the 2 got to know each other they had many differences to work through & they faced a lot of obstacles as well. In the end since it was to bring peace between their people they decided to make it work. A great story full of wonderful characters. I can't wait for book 2.

I loved this book it was very well-rounded and had a great opening for the second book.

Beautiful

Beautiful and original. Wonderfully written and well performed. Heart warming. Highly recommend.

Audible lists it as the first book in a series, but it has a HEA finished ending with no cliffhanger, so I think it’s actually a stand alone.

(The only issue I had was when the dark elves are first introduced there are a ton of new names and minimal explanation of who they are to each other. They are all eventually clarified but that one scene is confusing. It might have been easier to follow when written vs in audio format. It’s his sister and baby niece in the throne room with his mother, everyone else it’ll be clarified as needed.)
