A wonderful reference book for people who are new to working at large corporations. It explains what your manager is trying to convey and how they should convey it for nearly every common managerial-employee conflict.

Great book but I found it to be more geared towards a corporate structure lacking family office scenarios. Though I do understand the legal liability, rarely have I found a small business to care about that, sadly. Still looking for more answers on holding your boss accountable as well. Leadership starts from the top not the other way around.

Paul Falcone covers so many of the basic & advanced situations that a manager would come across and gives excellent examples of how to deal with them properly. If you're thinking of being a manager or just want to understand the points of views that managers experience this is exactly the book for that. Each situation is covered in about 5 minutes each, so I listen to one a day. The audible narrator, Adam Lofbomm, was excellent too.

Everything I was hoping for.
