Wow! More than exceeded my expectations!
What a wonderful story! I picked up this book on a whim, expecting absolutely nothing. To say that I am pleasantly surprised is an understatement. This was an awesome short story! If you're in the mood for a short fast listen-to then I highly recommend this book. It's not until the last 30 minutes that you realize who done it. The story never lags or gets boring and keeps you guessing all the way to the end. I absolutely love it and plan to read more by the same author. HIghly recommed to anyone who loves a good mystery, a good whodunit story, and it to anyone who loves dogs.

Great story!
I really enjoyed this novella. I was pretty surprised as I usually prefer to listen/read long books/series/trilogies/etc. If you love animals or are involved in rescue this story will bring a smile to your face (: The performance was good as well. If you are an animal person and have a few hours to listen give this story a try, I think you will enjoy it too.

Short and sinister

OUTSTANDING!
Just a really fun listen. great twists excellent narration. Listened to this in one sitting and could not pause.

Original and ingenious
I loved this story. It was original, offbeat yet plausible, and engrossing. I was almost at the end before I figured out what had happened, but even then, I did not guess what the motive had been. I also felt that the author “played fair” — there were no crucial details pulled out of thin air at the end. Finally, I was surprised that I wound up kind of liking the perpetrator. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stop listening and so finished the story sooner than I wanted to.
