Volke Savan has reunited with the Frith Guild just in time to help fight the Second Ascension, a group of power-hungry dastards bent on controlling the newly created god creatures. Interesting
I am enjoying the continued story, using credit after credit to hear it as soon as possible. The change in direction from this book was certainly unexpected, and while I am concerned about it moving forward, I am eager to continue with the series.

Amazing story with the perfect writing to accompany
the story of Volke and his relationships with his friends feels so realistic that it often has me remembering my own relationships. From tears to laughter the writing has me so engaged I feel like I'm experiencing all of the characters emotion along side them. I don't know what to say other than this whole series has been amazing to listen to.

My love for this series grows everytime I hear or read it
This is one of the most emotional books in the series. I love her writing style and the voice artist does a great job. The nightmare and reaper voices in this book are truly amazing and lead to a huge amount of impact and immersive experience. It sticks with you as you read the books even without the voice acting. As some of the series is not released yet in audio form ok maybe not his series but the mimic series which is just as good if not better. Because the world is so much more complete in that series do to her amazing world building thru this series.

This has been my favorite audiobook by far, from Shami and voiced by Brian Wiggins!!! When I heard the voice of the Grim Reaper it gave me chills all the way down my spine!!! great book but a bad ending possible spoiler alert
amazing book wonderful performance but I don't like the way it was ended. because I don't like replacing established power sets or established characters for that matter. especially this far down the series because that can easily make you feel like you're starting the series over again. however having said that I will definitely be getting the next book whenever it comes out because I can't wait to see where it goes I have a few suspicions but we'll see I would definitely recommend this book to others but definitely start with the first one.
