Resumen del Editor

Note to listeners:

This is an unofficial workbook for Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity by Dr. Peter Attia, designed to enrich your listening experience.

Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity by Dr. Peter Attia

Dr. Peter Attia is a Stanford/NIH/John Hopkins-trained physician with a focus on extending human life and well-being by applying the science of longevity. He is also the founder of Early Medical, a medical practice that applies Medicine 3.0 principles to patients who wish and long to extend their lifespan while also enhancing their health span.

Attia is also the host of one of the most popular podcasts covering the same topic–The Drive–which has more than 50 million downloads so far. The podcast features various topics like nutritional biochemistry, mental health, exercise, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and a lot more.

His book Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity is the number one New York Times best seller, and he is also an advisor to companies like Moonwalk Biosciences and Athletic Greens. Peter Attia’s perspectives and positions are more holistic than typical Western health care and when fully understood and adopted can greatly improve your way of life.

Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity is an “operating manual for longevity”. In the book, Dr. Peter Attia offers listeners tools to focus on and improve their mental and emotional health, different techniques to improve their sleep and exercise, and insights on new nutritional interventions.

Dr. Attia provides extensive information on what he calls “The Four Horsemen”, which he describes are the main causes of death–cancer, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, and cerebral vascular disease. The book covers these topics thoroughly, and every single information is presented after being face checked by experts in the respective fields.
