Incredible conclusion

Ties together 12 other books in a very satisfying way. Makes all 12 books better.

The best series ever!

I can not believe this series is over. I feel a little empty inside by that. I could not put down this book. I drank the whole series up, and now that cup is empty. Bernard Cornwell in my opinion, is the greatest historical fiction writer of all time. His descriptions of shield walls and one on one combat is vivid, you feel your a spectator watching the battle in person. He's done his research and it shows. Great ending to a great series. Bravo, Bravo!

Great finish to series

Narration great and story complete. Utread and Finnin finish strong and content with life.
