I listen to The Eagles series, Britannica episodes two years ago, I thought this novel was extremely good. Jonathan Kibble is of course always fantastic, he makes the novel come alive. Really enjoyable.. great fun!

Good to hear the otherside.

I respected the Celts whilst cheering Macro and Cato on.... but this gives me the view through his eyes...: Well done. 🤘... and yes Keeble is a master narrator. Thank you:

Scarrow hits another one out of the park and who better voice this story of dignity, death, leadership and honor than the great Jonathan Keeble.

Wow!

I started listening to this book and I was disappointed at the beginning that It seemed I would not be hearing from Cato and Macro. I continued and found myself through Simon’s brilliant story telling enthralled by Caratacus’s story! It maybe the best book woven into the series! I was amazed by the narrator’s voice, how many distinct character voices one actor created so many distinct characters! This was a thrilling story, a brilliant listen! Well done Simon Scarrow and Johnathan Keeble the voice of Simon’s book!!!!!

One of the best listens in a long time. I am a fan of both author and narrator. Good character development. Engaging storyline.
