love the concept and story but I'll tell you the protagonist is like an annoying 14yr old windy baby acting tough. super glad when she developed out of that. smh. good story though.

Just as good as the main series

Amazon needs to make Viridian Gate Online a tv series. The books are so good and I feel it would translate well to the cinematic world.

I loved every second of this book. If you love litRPG, then this is the book for you. the voice actress is awesome! The story is enthralling. I highly recommend it to anyone.5 ⭐

Great Litrpg novel!

The Litrpg novel is pretty impressive. I’m not sure I buy the antagonist as he saved the world by allowing humanity to escape earths destruction but the rpg elements are really good.

Great story with an even better price

A doomed world leading everybody to flee into a fantasy world we would all love to explore. Strong female main character with charming support characters. If this was not free to listen to I'd have happily paid for it.

Good but too much drama!

I enjoy the stories of VGO and have listened to all of them. Good performance. However there was way too much “female drama”, soul searching, manipulation, etc. I can see some of that as the main character, Abby, is female but seriously! Abby needs to be in therapy. Still, the action, game play items were well done.

ok but...

there's some background plot holes. the world is ending and you made a virtual world.why do you keep calling all the NPCs just code you're uploading your brain and soon you will be just code as well... the main character almost seems scared to do most thing and as always freaking out over her big scary company and what they might do...

This book rocks a completely refreshing change of viewpoint with a female mc. that is more real_atable & not doing squishy slamming bodies together stuff unless you're talking about a slime mold and a dwarven hammer in this book🤗 which is a nice change from the juvenile sex fantasy that seems to plague this genre. Thanks & great job. stay this good& I'll $ them all. #

Amazing narration

This was a great story. The MC was vulnerable and well-written. The story was engaging. Just now realizing this is an extremely fleshed out world with lots of series tk explore. Excited about that.

Emily Woo Zeller has just jumped into my top 5 favorite narrators with this one. Can't wait to hear more from her!

Same story, but different perspective

After reading through the available VGO Archives decided to read a related book. Didn't realize it would be the same timeline and story, but from Abby's perspective. I think it is a great book that lets Abby be the lead, instead of the sidekick, who seems to have done all the work. Story is engaging and fun, even though you know parts from the other books. Got a little sick of repeated internal strife about NPCs vs. Travelers as real people, but if this happened to you, would you really get over it in a couple days either? Planning to continue the series!
