Wonderful Surprise!!

I pre-ordered this book on a whim for an audible promotion and ended up with a very pleasing surprise.

One of the first MCs in a litrpg novel whom is not a bit mentally challenged... or more precisely, this is the first MC I can identify to with his min/maxing and build optimizations.

The world building is not overly complicate but does not feel lacking.

Great setup for a series with great potential.

I can honestly say I am looking forward to the next book in the series and for more from this author.

Excellent first book into a new series

I’m an avid listener of the litrpg style books and I really enjoyed this one. I’m going to be getting the next in the series and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story line progresses. I might have to get some ranch dressing for the next one though.

fun LitRPG book

I like this series. The author has great humor and isn't afraid to use it.

It’s was great I liked the style of it. This was my first gamer / fantasy book left me wanting more

unique magic system

if you like a lucky an overpowered mc you may enjoy this book. also the mc use lots of statitics in this first book to figure out how his magic will work an how much damge it would do ect an first book is lots of him soloing in the sucubus dugeon to level up an get stronger he also helps out the mistress that is were he gets lucky. one note to ad the magic he has reminds me of the book siphon since he can steal some blue magic from his foes to make him stronger

Not bad

The story: it is a cool idea. However I feel like he breezed through a lot of things that would connect the reader emotionally. There was (if I remember correctly) only one line in the beginning that showed any kind of distress from the people being taken FROM EVERYTHING THEY KNOW. Sorry but that experience would be traumatic not simply unwanted.
The narrator: Not bad but, like the author, kind of forgets how to put emotion in. When someone yells I’m pretty sure he gets quieter. Monotone isn’t great and makes me struggle getting into the story.

Great start but only a start to the story

It has a great narrator and the plot is interesting, however the story ends just as the main character beats the tutorial and is about to start his adventure. It's a shame that this is the only book included in the free membership library since I want to know what happens next but with this story you have to buy all or nothing to be satisfied with the story.
