He's back and better than ever!

I have been waiting for the next section of this epic tale to be available for some time. The character returns offer an interesting insight into how future plots will be tied up in messy bows. Joe's future growth is definitely going to be an uphill climb.

I just hope its the start of a good arc.

So far not much is interesting here as the other previuous books. Not a lot of grinding even though he did alot of crafting and preping. Seems like he does alot of prep for incoming waves to his settlements and this is just another one of those. Hopefuly things get a bit more interesting cause as ok as this book was its more or less mid. Kinda wish there was more going on in the back ground foreshadowing some new stuff to come, either i didn't see it or there was none. At the end i was left wanting a bit more, this was kinda just plain.

Always a fun adventure

Love catching up with Joe and Mate to see what world altering things they are up to. This book was a fun trip back to the beginning for a few character updates. I am anxiously awaiting the next book!

Very good followup and return

This was really cool to see him get to work on lower worlds again. Very cool and interested to see how rebuilding works.

Handled with care and back to form in the best ways possible

Back to what made this series great. I struggled through the last few books because they were not only rushed but had no heart or focus. This book reconnects the series with real skill grinding and the relationships that made the journey worth while. Still had a couple of stumbles but I’m glad I stuck with it. The 17hrs was the selling point for me I probably would not have picked it up for less than 15hrs

Never failing to write masterpieces

Literally every book keeps me wanting more. This is by far my favorite series, Dakoda Krout is such a solid author

It feel like it’s been forever sense I got to listen to joes adventures and every time I come back the series just gets better

Another really good book in the series. Focuses on the main character but let's you know what's going on with other friends and party members.

the author needs to reflect on this series direction.

I've bought every book in this series. This series needs to land. Joe as a character had to be rebooted and stripped down so we can watch him get crippled. i dont mind regression. it has a place. But we've been with this character so long and infrequent that it feels like reading out obligation instead of wanting to see what the character is doing. Dakota plan out the next three books an end the series. Clearly this series is not important enough to give a proper ending.
