A wonderful addition to this much loved series

We are back in Amber Ridge where another of the Hayes siblings finds his match.
Becket Hayes is a former Navy SEAL and nowadays the Fire Chief in Amber Ridge. Everyone likes him, except his gorgeous neighbor whom he seems to constantly annoy. Sometimes it seems , he does it to see her “fired up”.
Sky Williams is that neighbor. She moved back home after some heartbreaking occurrences in her previous town and now owns the local pet care. She considers Becket to be the worse of neighbors. Not only does he butchers the tree on her property , he now he is opposed to her having a fence between their properties. Maybe with it, she will stop the desire to strangle Becket. and he will stop calling her Peaches.
In the midst of it all, her parents want to fix her up with a guy , and even have invited an old neighbor to come for a visit so they can set her up.
In a desperate move, Sky tells her parents that Becket is her boyfriend . Intrigued by Sky , he goes along with the farce. Neither realizing that feelings will develop.
The plot thickens when an arsonist is in town as well as a thief. Is the same person guilty of both crimes ?
All this makes Sky nervous, since it seems her past is now becoming her present.
The story was engaging with some humorous moments . The main characters were well developed and likable .
I am looking forward to the next story in the series.
I was entrusted an audio vesion as well as an ebook of this story book. Loved both.
Especially the audiobook where CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow brought the story to life.

What a unique and fun romantic suspense! I absolutely adored this audio with CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow. They brought this story to life in the best way. Sky and Becket are the perfect dislike to lovers, and their love story is one I’ll be thinking about for a long time. SOOO good!

holy suspense!

this book just keeps you on your toes through the entire thing. the love story is so sweet and natural, the suspenseful situations are plentiful, the narrators are incredible. this is one of Nyssa Katherine's best. and that's saying a lot!

Sky and Becket

Unraveled is book 2 in the Amber Ridge Series by Nyssa Kathryn.

We met Sky and Becket in book 1 and of course you know with the fire chief, you have to have spark and fire and these two do!

CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow! OMG, these two narrators are awesome and to combine them toether to give us Sky and Becket is great! Both of these narrators give their all when they are doing the characters that they have. Aiden Snow is one of my go-to narrators if I have a choice in who to listen to and CJ Bloom is the same way! I can never tire of these two! They truly bring the story to life in their words and draw you into the story so that you aren’t just hearing it but feeling and seeing it as well!

For Sky, Becket is the neighbor that you don’t want, the pain the butt neighbor that likes to fight and banter on any and everything that he can. He loves to get under her skin and that just makes Sky more irritated at him.

So, when Sky’s parent’s try to set her up with a guy she has no interest in or even likes, without a second thought she blurts out that she has a boyfriend, her neighbor that she can’t stand!! Ugh, now Sky is asking herself why in the world she would do something like that!

Becket takes it with a grain of salt and has to play along but after a while, it doesn’t feel like they are playing and they both enjoy each other’s company.

However, it isn’t smooth sailing because someone from Sky’s past is back and Becket finds himself in protective mode!

This one is sure to light a flame with your emotions! 🔥

The characters are so real and the storyline was captivating! Couldn’t take my earbuds out till the very end! 🤩
