Good but with issues
I hate that he never focuses on the things that make him awsome the quadra elementist. He just keeps focusing on martial arts and the stupid burst step. He could even learn to use the elements for the birst step bur nooooo.

Phenomenal series
I am completely enthralled and hooked by this series. I love the main characters and the plot line. However, this particular book really dragged for me because of the two months of training that he had with the elders. To me, this did not need to be part of the book in such excruciating detail. I actually had to fast forward past some parts because they were just so dull. The other books in the series were not like this, and were very action packed. Not sure if the author ran out of material to write about or just got stuck. Despite this, to me this series and this book is quite good. I cannot wait to read the next one.
