Krakens and Dragons… Oh My!

I was patiently waiting for Thunder Kraken to release on audiobook. I listened to Kraken Rider Z and even though I have the kindle ebook, my brain kept telling me that I needed to continue the experience of Tim Gerard Reynolds in my head rather than reading this.

I’m so happy I waited! Tim was once again phenomenal!

In Thunder Kraken, Zee and Jessup are accepted into the dragon and riders war academy. How in the heck would a Kraken be trained alongside dragons? And how would Zee fare with those being trained to bond with dragons.

Zee and Jessup are split up, Zee with the riders and Jessup with the dragons. And I loved every single minute of the escapades that followed.

I’m going through a serious book/audiobook hangover right now and can’t get these characters and this story out of my head!

I hope that there’s another book coming. I need more Zee and Jessup and the rest of the gang!

A sequel that doesn’t disappoints

I’ve been waiting two years for the continuation of this amazing story. Amazing friends great story excellent character development get this book.

I need more!!!

I am obsessed with this duo and all of the side characters and seeing them grow/progress and do it together. I love that this whole book was really only a few weeks in book time (or there abouts). It just means we got more details, more depth, and there will be more to come. I’m excited for the next and can’t wait to learn more about the other countries, tournament, mermen nation! I’m left wanting MORE! And now!! 😂 and narrator does great job too

Thoroughly enjoyable

Definitely for a younger audience but an excellent story, nonetheless. Ok, the idea of a snarky Kraken who talks and tells awful jokes may be a bit of a stretch, but the story is clean and has enough tension in it that it keeps your attention, even if a bit predictable. The relationship between Jessup (Kraken) and his rider is endearing as is the relationship between the two and their friends. TGR is outstanding as always, one of my favorite narrators. Highly recommended!

Can’t get enough of these two heartwarming n random smiles n laugh moments that keep the people in the other lanes in traffic thinking I’m either crazy or jealous of whatever audiobook I’m listening to.
Typically you’re only attached to the protagonist but with this new series I’m in love with every single character involved, they’ve managed to all compliment one another to have me replaying if something interrupted during play just in case I missed any little thing mentioned because they’ve managed to all maintain that level of interest, which is rare and appreciated as an avid audiobook addict with high standards.
