The Lord of The Manor is back

10 years without Jesse Ward was painful but This Woman has brought on all those feelings and the narration by Shane East has made the wait worthwhile. Jodi Ellen Malpas did not disappoint. Jesse’s POV has ripped my heart open and now I have another year to wait for the rest of my favorite Lord’s story. A MUST read - Ladies you will not be disappointed!! Thank you JEM, a true wizard with words. Shane East your voice will always be Jesse to me. ❤️😍🥰

I love the This Man series told from Ava’s point of view. This Woman is told from Jesse’s point of view in all his 7ucked-up-ness. Enlightening, endearing, eye-rolling, and gut-wrenching. I was literally crying at the end despite knowing exactly what was going to happen. This Woman allows us to not just see Jesse’s tortured spirit, it allows you to feel every ounce of his insecurity and pain. I honestly need more of Hesse’s story.

how could you be so cruel and end this story that way. omg!!!! if I didn't read all the "this man" series I would feel so gipped. thank God I know Jessie lives and goes on to marry Eva and have a wonderful life together. so sorry for the spoiler. but like I said you could have went ONE MORE CHAPTER.

WOW!!! Let me start with, there is NOTHING that Shane East narrates that can be bad…. So, Loving HIS point of view. Lets us truly understand his internal suffering and how much he struggles. It breaks my heart 🥺. Waiting on the next book to find out what happens.

I thought This Man was amazing, but was woefully wrong! Shane East delivers a spot on interpretation of Jesse delivering gut wrenching lines. Hate that I have to wait so long for Book 2!!

I’m a huge fan of Jodi’s and absolutely love her work. I’ve read the first 4 books of the series and seriously didn’t think there was a need to retell the first 3 books in Jesse’s POV, since they were SO good and told the story of Ava and Jesse perfectly. BOY WAS I WRONG… First of all, you had me at Shane East, a man who’s voice alone has me obsessively craving for more. Narrator A+++. This POV had just the right amount of Jesse’s history prior to meeting Ava, and a double dose of the crazy, loving, sexy, obsessive, controlling/dominant Jesse we’ve come to ❤️. JODI!!! please hurry up releasing With this Woman (next book) before I DIE of impatience!!!! 🥰🤩👍🏽

This is my first book by this author, so I also haven’t read the rest of the series. Yet. Because I got them immediately after finishing this book. IT IS SO GOOD. Bring tissues.

Hearing this book from Jessie POV really sheds some light on what he has been going through. It makes me want to cry ! The voice actor though !!! My gawd! *standing ovation*
