Wow this book blew me away

West and Rose were great. They really made the characters real. Im onto next book

Manwhore

I don't usually choose to listen any story that the main character is a man whore. I decided to give this one a try. After three hours in, I hated Dixon but the story got more interesting so I kept listening. The writing was very good that was the reason I didn't give low rating. I listened to Hunter first so I also wanted to give this one a try. I didn't really care the cheating and lying. That's who the H was. Dixon made poor choices and deserved what came to him. He rather have a bitch than the innocent one. Apparently Madison also likes bad playboy too. They deserved each other at the end! All in all, this was good one time listen and will definitely won't be in my relisten list. The performance were perfect. No complaint there. If you don't mind listening/reading that dealt with easy sex, lying and cheating, this one is for you!

SORRY.. BUT THIS STORY WASN’T FOR ME

I was curious and had such high hopes for this unusual love story and I was in the mood for something a little different.. however, somewhere along the way it fizzled out for me.. and I blame the hero. All the way through, Dixon was an unapologetic manwhore and a bastard to women.. and not in a good way. He was meant to be an addiction psychiatrist.. but he was also a sex addict who spent his time banging his female clients and most of the endless supply of willing women who continually threw themselves at him. His ex fiancé had done quite a number on his psyche and he was still hurting a year later so didn’t want love at all.

However, he was drawn to two very different women.. Madison is a sweet virgin and Juliet is a hot nympho client who tempted and teased him, and he couldn’t resist her dirty sexual behaviour choosing to let Madison go. This is a man very much led by his dick. Things were hot ‘n heavy with Juliet for a while but, when Madison comes back onto the scene, Dixon’s earlier choice of Juliet will eventually turn out to be the worst decision of his life.. backfiring and bringing blackmail, heartache and uncertainty to his door.. but what did he expect after-all he did chose the devil’s spawn rather than the angel.

The trouble was that I really didn’t like ANY of the characters.. but especially Dixon who lied, cheated and even pictured Madison while f’ing Juliet. When things went wrong in Dixon’s life I thought “ha ha serves you right”, Juliet was a grade A bitch and Madison was just blah. Told mainly from Dixon’s PoV with some from Madison’s PoV, it had sex scenes with a multitude of eager women but I didn’t feel any passion, any chemistry, any hold your breath build-up or any soul-to-soul connection. It ends on a cliffhanger but sorry, I won’t be wasting any more of my time or money on this toxic relationship. The narration however was good.

Worth a credit? For me it’s a no.. but you may absolutely love it.

I thought it would be a great romance love story. It was moreso about a manwhore who abused and used women and he somehow ended up being perceived as a hero.
