what, I was not expecting it to be who it was. well shoot, this was a crazy ride trying to figure out who the black Orchid killer was. I honestly thought it was the mayor. man talk about a plot twist. this was a good series I enjoyed it very much and I hope you guys will too. the narrators did an awesome job too.

Excellent Conclusion!

This is the third book in the Promised in Blood Series, a Mafia Reverse Harem Romance. Chiara, Salvatore, Cassius, Vinicius and Lorenzo's story continues where the second book left off. The story is dark, steamy, and fast-paced, filled with mystery, intrigue, danger, and unpredictable twists and turns. This is an excellent conclusion to this captivating series. The ending is beautiful. The bonus chapter is a great addition to the series. Maeve York and Walker Williams did an amazing job bringing this story to life. If you like dark RH romance, this series is for you. #PFPAudio

I loved the finale to the Promised in Blood trilogy. It was packed full of action, surprise, spice and love. It was just what I was hoping for to the finish to Chiara, Lorenzo, Cassius, Vinicius and Salvatore's story. The audio book was good, but not amazing. I still don't love Maeve's male voices, especially the one that sounds like dracula, but I did enjoy Walker Williams.

There were a few things I didn't love... The biggest being that I hated was that Vinicius and Lorenzo's relationship is only in the bonus chapters. I wish Lilith would have incorporated their story into the actual book because it was truly a love story and it was just snuck into the end and it felt like she was trying to cater to those who don't like MM making it easier to skip. My other dislike was that they don't all live happily ever after together, I hate that Chiara and little V are bouncing around from house to house.

All that being said, the actual plot and outcome was so good. I probably should have at least had some suspicions about who the BOK was, but it truly took me by surprise and I loved the action that surrounded that storyline. This whole series was a really fun and spicy listen and I loved it. Lorenzo is probably my favorite guy with Cassius being a close second. Both had such unique and strong personalities and I loved how they loved Chiara. I wonder if we'll get more from this world... If so, I am absolutely here for it.

Excellent Conclusion

This is the fourth book I've read/ listened to by Lilith Vincent, the first full series. She writes well with dark complicated storylines and characters.

Chiara continues to prove her strength, standing strong with her guys. The suspense was intense. I didn't want to pause the audio. Salvatore, Cassius, Lorenzo, and Vinicius decide it's family time and I love it! That brought a smile to my face. All is wrapped up with a trip into the past and an excellent HEA.

Walker Williams and Maeve York are excellent narrators. They were perfect for this series! They brought it to life with emotional performances that rolled like a movie in my head. Look forward to hearing them again in the future.

the ending was well fitted to the story all the information was given. it was an enjoyable story.

Deliciously ... vengeful.

After that wicked cliffie in book 2, obviously I just *had to* read on. (Thanks so much to the audio publisher, 🦩Pink Flamingo Productions for the ability to do so.)

Book 3 picks up exactly where book 2 leaves off, thankfully.
I appreciated the author’s skill as I watched the characters develop, along with their respective relationships with one another, and especially watching Kiara claim a position of authority and start giving orders. Very cool.

It’s dark at times, proceed with caution. 😈

This RH story is dark, fast paced, full of mystery and danger. It is steamy, hot. Chiara and her boys are still trying to figure out and catch the Black Orchid Killer.
Many secrets, lies, twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat.
Chiara became more confident and stronger throughout this series.
Maeve York and Walker Williams narration is very good. They brought this exciting story to life.

Mafia Reverse Harem Romance

Third Comes Vengeance by Lilith Vincent is a mafia reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Maeve York and Walker Williams. This is the third and final book in the Promised in Blood series.

Lilith did a great job wrapping up the series. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Chiara, Salvatore, Vinicius, Cassius, and Lorenzo. I loved that we got all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Walker and Maeve did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, mafia romances, reverse harem romances, or romantic suspense.


The Flock Team

So many giggles in this one haha

This finale was fast-paced and kept the readers/listeners on the edge of their seat. I needed to know how things ended up after that painful cliffhanger in book 2! I appreciated the intricate storyline, the many subplots to tie up before the end of the book. The secrets and hints dropped were done well and the steam was *chefs kiss*.

I guessed who the bad guy early in this book but that didnt deter from the reveal and revelation. The bad guy is so disturbed and the karmic justice he gets was perfect. The person enabling him got even better consequences/karmic justice and made me have a huge smile how they caught him and revealed it to everyone haha. In book 2 we finally got to see the guys for who they were and how damaged and troubled they were because of the black dahlia’s murder victims and in this one we see them healing, even before they caught him. They let Chiara in she helped them all grow together and be stronger. I loved the baby part of this storyline haha, I usually don’t but it made me laugh so much. How dangerous these guys are but put a baby in front of them or the idea of making a baby with the one they love and they do a complete 180 hahaha. And Lorenzo’s antics, so good haha.

I think for me one of the reasons I brought this down to 4 stars from the 4.5 I was originally going to give it was because of the bonus scene. I love MM and believe all love is love and for me, to put this at the end like they were ashamed to have it in the original storyline was tough to swallow. I get wanting to get a bigger audience and not including it (some people just want love with the female in an RH which I understand, I personally love when some or all are together as well but that’s just me). It felt like it was a dirty secret or an afterthought. It didnt sit well with me and I couldnt give it a 5 stars because of it. Either put it in or not at all. I think it would have added to Lorenzo’s complexity and helped elevate the story even more but it still read well without it in the original storyline.

Overall I still recommend this series. I will definitely be checking out more from this author because I enjoyed this series ❤️

4 star listen I’d like to hear more about Electra.
This series seems to end here, these guys may appear if there’s books in the same universe later on.
The audio is done well and I do appreciate the accents and he narrator tried to put on the characters.

I was gifted this audio series and throughly enjoyed the storyline along the way.
