With no idea where to start, it looks nearly impossible until the sudden arrival of a dirty, disheveled priestess who confesses to a host of war crimes and demands she be executed for them.

This is a story that hooks you early. The universe is well built and the characters are full of life.

My kind of story

Excellent if you are a fan of military and first contact stories. I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to the next. Narrator was excellent as usual from Daniel. Great military humor.

Really fun book honestly, doesn't get too bogged down in the war aspect to the detriment of character development which is a plus
