The whole book kept me engaged and entertained, which is all that matters to me.

good story gets better as you go

I liked the story my only complaint is the first few chapters are hard to get through. The word said should only be used so many time's. The story is good and the repeated use of said stops after a few chapters. I can't wait for the second book.

perfectly done mc, on a rare theme

cyberpunk harem cultivation litrpg, is already a interesting enough theme to hook me. biggest plus is an interesting mc who's more than just a battle junkie, shy floormat (idk why that trope is popular). or making their tragic back story their whole personality. He has many interests and hobbies, and an actual humanlike amount of charisma that makes the women orbiting him actualy believable. The genuine characters are such a high point of this story, especially how the female characters have so much of their own back story and development. only complaint is I can't see all the outfits they described and that I have to wait for the next book.

Give me more!

This book wasn't on my radar. I stumbled upon it, in the "we think you might like" suggestions. I am so soo sooo glad I took a chance on it. If the subsequent books in this series are as good as the first, it will be among the best in the genre.

Ok let’s go

Hands down one of the best audiobooks I’ve read this year. Writing is good voice acting is good. The story is great. Can’t wait to see how it develops but it’s not you cheesy male protagonist. That’s just a Simp. I like it is dope. Give me some more.

A hidden gem

The story had good pacing performance, characters and general plot. The main character also isn’t a Simp who finds over every girl he meets and generally makes connections with the woman in his harem and people outside of his harem. He also has friends who are men and not every male character. Besides him is a bad guy for some reason.

Great start to hopefully a long series.

like the tittle suggest, it was a refreshing entry to a genre that has seen a lot the same boring old tropes. I really enjoyed the development of the characters and the LIs. my only gripe is everything took place in a month. would of liked to see a more gradual authentic growth. even the ladies went from like level 7 to 20 in a day lol

Meh

The street kid in every friend group with a strange sense of style turns out to be a massive weeb and writes his own self-insert fanfiction harem-cyberpunk-isekai adventure anime. The book starts off in the middle of an awakening ceremony and immediately info-dumps the MC's backstory. Literally named Xay 'X', our MC stumbles onto S-ranked skills and over 10x the stat points of everyone else, falls into a relationship with two powerful, gorgeous women who've been head-over-heels with our mediocre orphan MC for years, and exerts his dominance over society through nothing but a fantastic sequence of extraordinary hand-outs. Our Mary-Sue can trounce anyone, do and make anything, and sleep with anyone as though God himself blessed his every action, no matter how clumsy and foolish, with boundless luck. The clichés hit one after another in quick succession: Unearned god-tier power, arrogant and weak-minded asshole antagonists, stumbling into skill and power upgrades off the rip just my thinking about it, and a fulfilling school life where he's surrounded by the most beautiful princesses and celebrities even a famous rapper would be jealous of, just by osmosis. I'm bored of this drivel, and no amount of quality narration can fix it.

Decent start

Starts OK, borrowing on the Awakened/Portal rpg elements. But about halfway through devolves into author self insert wish fulfillment fantasy. The mechanics are meaningless and the MC is OP
