The boys did it again!!

Darker Than Expected
I love the stuff from WarGate Books but this one definitely takes a very dark turn right out the gate compared to some of the other stuff from them. There is definitely a strong horror edge to this series. otherwise in general though really enjoyed Doomsday Recon and cannot recommend it highly enough.

When in doubt, kill it with fire
The book was an exciting romp through a number of tropes, I wish we had gotten to see more wild creatures in this Elseworld mishmash of times but maybe the next installment will scratch that itch for me.

Excellent Read/Listen
I enjoyed everything about this story. The characters were well written. The people and animals are well thought out. The story flows well.
I can’t wait for the next book. I hope it goes beyond the two books. I would enjoy a 10, 15 or 20 book series.

Consistent Surprise
Great book! Loved the content, characters and the story line. Only thing I would change is how quickly the story moves….there were certain times I wish it spent a little bit longer on before moving to the next crazy thing.

It's a great book great sort and well told and narrative. Can't wait for the second book.
Details of things your not fully aware of. Like vehicles and guns. Also while reading maybe work a little more on your pronunciations it tab bit more. Kept saying M60 when you ment M16 many time and a few odd balls here and there
