This is my first Wolfe book and I'm glad I tried it. Wonderful series and Ronnie and Triss did a fabulous job bringing it to life!

Another beta fantasy

I finished it... I'm glad to be done with it. This is a PG harem that plays like it was written by a teenager. The book had a premise that sounded interesting, but it's incredibly basic on every level. Boring relationships,boring fights, boring kingdom building. A few characters seem like they'll be interesting, but are never really developed. I'm so tired of all the harem trash that is coming out now. What self respecting woman would be okay with a guy that has a relationship with every single woman that crosses his path? Only a beta simp would treat women like that. it would be different if it were a society that were structured around such relationships for one reason or another but no, every single woman just loves the prince and is okay with every other woman being with him as well. Worst ending ever as well. author gave up on book 3 completely.
