I have to admit, I almost passed on the story of Wise but I was very curious to discover his backstory and WOW.

Wise is a very complex character. I am trying not to spoil the story and my only critique is I want more of the relationship with his of baby mamas and children.

The narrators, awesome performances.

I will continue the series.

Narrators clearly are everything and these 2 are fantastic. J. Kora is one of my favorite female narrators and Midnite is one of my favorite male narrators...

This was a pretty good story. I don't like 3rd person writing/narration at all, but this was still a good listen. I wish there was more of Wise and his love interest story and there was an epilogue. Wise is BAE for sure. Damn, the sex scenes in this book were so fire! I give the story 4 ⭐️s just on that alone!

So it turns out that Wise is bae. I didn’t expect to like him going in but this was a pleasant surprise. This series has me in a chokehold.
