Although she has some reservations, it has been a long-time dream of hers to own a day spa where women can get pampered from head to toe. After she considers how her life is going, she jumps at the opportunity.

From the moment the two collide, Sonshyne and Raine can’t stop thinking about each other. They fall hard and fast, but when their visions for expanding their businesses collide, things get a little murky.

Will their stubbornness cause them to lose each other? Or will they compromise and find a way for love to win?

Love Sonshyne and Raine

Love the love between The friends and lovers Sonshyne and Raine. This was a great story of knowing when to move on and spread your wings. I love how protective the men are about the women in their lives. I love how the author didn't have to degrade the women in her story.i love how she showed a successful way for black men and women to be successful without killing stealing or selling drugs.

What i loved the most about this book is when Raine and Shine hit a bump in tge road it didn't take 5-6 maybe even eight chapters for them to get over it. Their love Reigned throughout the entire story.

GREAT LOVE STORY!!!

I don't know which character was better. But the story line was great. There was humorous moments, sexy scenes, and tearjerking moments. The story was just GREAT!!!

I wanted so much more 😔

First, I want to say that the concept of the main characters' names was perfect and caught my attention from jump. I also love that the town was called Onyx City and focused on thriving black businesses.

I was expecting some cutesy soulmate love story, but unfortunately, that wasn't the total vibe I got. Things seemed to transpire so quickly and seemed super exaggerated every time Raine & Shyne were together, and their love story came off as kinda unbelievable. Instead of a healthy crush or even infatuation (if that's a thing), Shyne came off as a little posessive for most of the story. I know it was supposed to be out of a good heart but I don't know...

I couldn't get with the intimate scenes. I love a good erotic scene where I can picture everything that's happening, but the interactions and banter weren't sweet and memorable...it was a little cringy. Maybe it was the male narrator's voice... but I didn't like it at all. He was doing too much. The female narrator's voice was much better.

I won't lie, if there's a 2nd book that goes into Mel and Breeze I have to read it because I feel kind of invested but hopefully the plot is a little more thought through and maybe different narrators. I wish I didn't spend a credit on this but here's to the next story being better (I'm so sorry for negative review 🫣.)
