Uncovering a Cover Up

Didn't know what to expect from this one, first read from the author. She did not disappoint! The story had twist and turns I wasn't expecting! I will definitely have to dive into the author's catalog! Worth the credit!

A Lot Going On In This Story

There was so much going on in this story with all of the corruption, lies, murder, false accusations and infidelity….I’m surprised that Grey and Gianna were able to find one another and even fall in love. Grey, Gianna & Lil Theo really did make for a cute family. I’m also glad Amber came around…she was actually the one crazy.

The twist and turns

Definitely television adaptation worthy. This had me in a chokehold, I couldn’t stop listening. I absolutely recommend this book.

Murder mystery mixed with romance

Definitely not what I expected but a pleasant surprise. I wish the book was longer because I was hooked. My only critique is I wish the drama wasn’t squeezed in at the end. She did great building the story and it definitely came full circle but I feel like it all solved in the last hour of the book and I wish it had a little more on the end. Definitely hoping for book 2.

Excellent

Great story. Excellent writing. There was enough drama to keep you engaged. Love the way the MMC staked his claim. Sweet love story. The narrators were very good . J.Y Kora is one of my favorite narrators. I would highly recommend.

Second and third time reading

I read the ebook first, then bought physical copy and now I listened to it and I still love the flow of this story! For the male character sometimes he was wayyy more excited then what the book called for but I loved the life it brought to the story!! Can’t wait for the other ones to come out on audible.

Pirate theory is so good. I learned about it on TikTok last year and I have been obsessed with the author ever since he writes about men you want to be your bay OK and when I say, Mr. Gray was topped here, he was top-tier best stepdaddy.
