Uncovering a Cover Up

Didn't know what to expect from this one, first read from the author. She did not disappoint! The story had twist and turns I wasn't expecting! I will definitely have to dive into the author's catalog! Worth the credit!

Definitely television adaptation worthy. This had me in a chokehold, I couldn’t stop listening. I absolutely recommend this book.

So glad M. Monique has entered the Audible space. This series is one of my favorite. The narrators brought this story to life. Outstanding job!

How poor it was written but got rave reviews

This story absolutely did not connect well at all. I didn’t finish it once I realize it wasn’t well written. Stop selling toxic relationships to black women. I can’t stand when a person calls themselves an author but can’t describe a character without using a celebrity. It so damn lazy, lacks imagination and person ability to have true skills with a pen.

Good book!

I ate this book up! This book threw me for a loop from the beginning. Grey was everything! He’s definitely giving my man, my man, my man. Step daddy of the year!! Everybody around Gianna was so trash!! Sade needed her ass whooped!! I didn’t think Sade needed a POV. Gianna was a hypocrite though because she was keeping secrets too.

I didn’t care for the male narrator. I also didn’t care for the celebrity comparisons in looks. Definitely some inconsistencies. Grey said Theo looked like a mix of Gianna and Wyatt but then everyone else said Theo looked like Gianna’s dad. She said Wyatt gave her half the money from selling the house but then later said Wyatt left her nothing but the clothes on her back.
