Great Story

The way Capri and Lisa were able to turn their Trauma bonding into a supportive love was refreshing to read. Both deserved a 2nd chance at love and happiness. Robin was a conniving snake. I hated that she was able to get away with the gofundme funds.

Myles Washington was awesome, as usual. Whitley Whitmore was not a good fit for this story, for me.

Whew Chile…..

I really enjoyed this story. Kept my attention all the way to the end. The narration was good. Myles Washington will always be a favorite of mine. Capri and Lisa went through a lot and there exes was trifling. The betrayal and secrets cut deep and then tragedy strikes sending Capri off the rails to get justice by any means necessary. Lisa was in love ready to marry the love of her life and give birth to their first child. One night and one doctors appointment changes everything and nothing will ever be the same.

From Trauma Bond to a Connection

I enjoyed the story. The main characters were a source of support for each other. Out of the ashes of personal trauma a connection was developed. Good narration.

The title will throw you off but I loved this beautiful story of grief and forgiveness. Capri and Lisa had a trauma bond but it grew into a beautiful relationship. I loved this book. i hate Robin didn't get enough karma. although Sin was trash toward Lisa I believe he really felt bad about what he did i kinda felt for him... what happened to Tay??

The cycle of love and accountability

Loved the evolution of Capri and how pain turned to happiness. Lisa deserved and received more. Grace

Myles is my favorite n I listen to anything he narrates however….one book lowered my enthusiasm fr him so it made me hesitant about this one. Glad I kicked the apprehension to the curb bc this book was wonderful! Just what I’ve come to expect fm my book bae 😍
