I enjoyed this legal thriller for many reasons: believable characters, academic soundness, heartfelt plot/plots, the author’s keen ability to convey evil without profanity and unnecessary detail.

This entire series is absolutely phenomenal. 😍 Set in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, you can almost imagine yourself there in the city with Joe Hennessey as he desperately tries to find out how and why his ten year old son was murdered! I bought the audiobooks for this seties because they are so good that I know I'll want to binge listen to all 4 books many times. I'd give this 10 stars for excellent writing as well as wonderful narration! 😍

This is a great series. Love Joe Hennessy! Steady pace, interesting plot. This book really keeps you guessing.

I enjoyed this book. Joe Hennessy was a character that was well developed, and you rooted for him all through the book. I enjoyed the trial at the end of the book, and the twists and turns. I definitely will read another book by this author.
