So far the Best of the Series!

Out of all the North Woods books this would have to be my favorite and Clarke is just an amazing Book Boyfriend. Emerson’s past is so tragic (Warning: Adult Theme) and Clarke is her saving grace, her Knight. The Secret story line was captivating, and the narration just made it so worth the wait, I’ll listen to anything with Teddy. My only gripe is the Authors really need to change up their descriptive language, much of it is the same throughout all 3 books. I will finish out the series only because I’m already 3 books invested.

Clark: A Swoon-Worthy Hero

After reading the first two books, it was nice to have a story in which the male hero isn’t cruel to his love interest. In fact, he was more like a knight in shining armor. From the very first moment we are introduced to Emerson, we see a side of Clark that is completely different in how he was portrayed in the previous book.

Emerson has been through sexual abuse and suffers with anxiety attacks. Clark is her calm. He is still the same Clark as before, the only difference is that he falls in love with one girl. He’s gentle and patient towards Emerson and would do anything to keep her safe.

The narrators were excellent!

Clark & Emerson

I have really enjoyed this series! It definitely ties into the Rossi series. Luke and Grace make an appearance.
Emerson is traumatized from past sexual abuse that resulted in a pregnancy that she ended up losing at 6 mo mark, she feels guilty and kept it a secret along with her r*pe. Emerson has a panic attack at an event whe Clark sees her and falls for her at first site, first because she's hot, but then he helps her through the panic attack and it's game over for him emotionally. Clark was a manwhore but once he helped Emerson, she stuck in his thoughts and worked her way into his heart pretty quickly. My favorite book of the series.

Clark is Perfect for Emerson!

This is my favorite story of the series so far! I LOVE CLARK! He is absolutely perfect for Emerson! He is exactly what she needs to heal! I love how slow he is with her, and how he would do anything for her! Clark is the perfect book boyfriend and protector! Wish I could read more about them in the future!
