SPOILER!!!!! June (MFC) was annoying. She was way too wishy washy for me. She went through trauma which I understand. But she didn't believe in herself till the last 3 chapters.

the plot stood out the most

I like the kings attitude and his brother shenanigans. The plot stood out the most, great story very intriguing.

New series from my favorite girl

I loved the challenge the pov couple had. attracted to each other and one keeping a great wall between them.. great ending

Alphahole Fae Kings and Tor Thom- yes, please!!

I am a fan and Milan Jacks and Tor Thom, so this was a no brainer for buying! Heroine has a Belle from Beauty and the Beast vibe. She is basically a hardworking farm girl, who is chosen along with her sisters to go to the "ball" at the King's palace after meeting a soldier in the woods. She and the soldier has instant fireworks between them, but she has no desire to ever be mated (or married) again. (Very crappy ex-husband history) The soldier is actually the Fae King, and he immediately feels she is his mate. However, her non swooning attitude perplexes him. Most women would jump at the chance to marry someone like him, but she is absolutely not impressed. She is happy to have a roll in the hay with him but nothing more. So, of course, he is going to invite her and her sisters to the palace so he can charm her into becoming his mate. Tor Thom does such excellent growly characters. He is one of the best! Definitely an excellent read.
