I need the next book.

Some times premonitions are unreliable. Sometimes, avoidance isnt an option. One component i liked was that faithful friends are hard to find. And there is much to be said for loyalty and sacrifice for those you care about.

More needs to be said about this book! Hidden gem! Cliffhanger ending! chef’s kiss! Perfect!

such a tortuous twist to 'mates'

I did NOT see that reveal coming! I thoroughly enjoyed the author's work, but the narrator's voice was too childlike for me to truly listen to the spicy scenes.

Almost DNF

This while book felt rushed. It had potential to be really good, but too many plot twists and holes left out feeling like an ADHD daydream.

Very interesting premise. Astrid is a healer and a seer, the latter a heavily guarded secret. With dark visions of her future mate, Astrid has avoided Prince Rave at all costs until fate finally intervenes.

Mate bonds are initiated, secrets are revealed, and war is imminent.

The world is intriguing, filled with fae, vampires, werewolves, incubi, etc and interesting power ups that happens when a mate bond is completed.

There were a lot of spice scenes but they really weren’t spicing much for me.

I think part of it was definitely the female narrator. Her voice acting came off as very young, like age 17 vs the 25 year old she’s supposed to be and it was definitely cringe in “moments“ with the MMC.

I’ve already bought the next two audiobooks so I will be listening to those as well. With the preview, and though it’s the same female narrator, it does sound like she changes it up (hopefully) for the following books.
