LOVED IT!

I really loved this book. I didn’t know how I felt about 5 suitors but it was nice. I have to skip the beating parts though. I couldn’t handle listening to those parts!

More Please

I am hoping there will be more books in this series as it has good potential to become an enjoyable series.

A REALLY ENJOYABLE BOOK

I usually don't do this exact type of audiobook with the valkyries or angels or anything mostly I tend to enjoy darker things like vampires as a primary character and without them being all bad or all good but both with adventure a bit of romance and constant twists and turns with trouble and sometimes even a monarchy explained. Now, it has that reverse harem thing but not as much as you would think especially for many chapters in the beginning so you get a bit more of who the girl is and her world how ever I do think it was lacking a bit in that area as well however again it's been categorized in the reverse harem section of fantasy and I have only ever really really loved one in this category which I reviewed in my audible listener area and this didn't make me feel like that but when I had no exciting others to listen to I enjoyed this over others sitting in my phone's library and there is supposed to be I believe more to come out from this series so hopefully it will continue where this one leaves off without adding any additional sexual activity or etc but rather build on the trouble and world of this girl because that's really I initially why I took a chance with this book and just skipped the parts with sexual orientation. The narrator did a really great job and absoutely reccomend anyone listening to this narrator in the future as well.

I really feel like this story could have used more world building Especially with how brutal the start is

A lot is missing from this story.

This story had the potential to be good, but there was just a LOT missing - from world building, to relationship building, to character development. I kept thinking I'd missed something, but rewinding didn't help.

The female narrator did an impressive job with the male characters, but I still had a hard time figuring out which prince was speaking a lot of the time.

I wish I could recommend the book, but I really can't.

Missing the meat of the story

I skipped back several chapters twice to listen for anything I missed. I either got stuck in a daze every time or there is something missing. I mean, she meets princes who instantly dote on her, but after years of abuse and neglect she simply takes it all in stride. How? And all of a sudden everyone is in love. Where is the personal emotional journey or is she just a naive dimwit with the depth of a puddle?
