This book was everything! Sweet, hilarious, exciting, and heartbreaking! I laughed so much I literally choked, it was brilliant and I can’t wait to start book two. Add to that the accents and sass the narrators brought to the table and I’m in love! In love I tell you!! Read it! Read it now!! If you like why choose or shifter romance then read it!

Heart Wrenching and Justice Filled!

Love how cunning, resourceful, and strong the FMC is. My heart goes out to her for the journey she’s had to take so far, but loving getting to see her through it, still fighting for herself.

I hope the MMCs know what they’re doing or figure things out soon! I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in book 2!

Great Narration!

The narrator great job bringing the charactesr to life. I enjoyed the book and I’m interested to see where the story goes.

Different and Love It

Different story line than the other 50 wolf shifter books that I have read/listened to and I am here for it. It had reached all my emotions and kept me interested all the way through. which is hard for me...most of the time I disconnect and speed up because i feel like the author is adding information as a filler. not this one. Im usually all about the spice as well..but the storyline in this book is so good that I didn't miss the spice spice thats normally in these type of books. the slow burn is burning. Im excited about the second book and I know I shouldn't start it at 1 am but here we are 🤣.

Not a cheese Shifter Story

This book is all about the story and introducing our new favorite mfc. She is broken but fearless, not a roll over and submit kind of girl. If you are going to read any Shifter book this is the one.

Not very spicy YET! But it's coming in book two!!

wow wow wow!

This book hit me like a ton of bricks. It's so good. Good in the way that Cate C Wells' 5 packs series is. So full of pain and cruelty and yearning and faint hope. Although, this book is less of a masterclass on human emotion, and more an exploration of pain. It has a classic conflict: man vs. man. But even more to the point: man's inhumanity to man. This book is a SUPER heavy read. I was deeply triggered but unable to stop. I think that if shifters did exist in our reality, these two authors (Bright and Wells) would have totally nailed their fractured natures.

This story is about Flor (h) or Florida. Unranked shifter. Pack reject. And let's just say that, since birth his woman has suffered pure unadulterated evil. No SA, but not because it was off the table for the men of her pack (Southern Pack), only because Flor made an art form of evading them. Vicious confrontation is this author's love language. The two things that save this book from being depressing and awful are Flor's spunk and her honesty. Oh and her accent, it was very fitting.

So far her mates appear to be Luke, Brand, Glen, Finnick and Joaquin. But we have a looooooong way to go. Unlike most shifter books Flor is driven solely by survival—to the exclusion of everything else. And as alpha heirs the men are bound by duty. There's only a very slight sensual draw of the mate bond. But mostly there's just a general confusion and denial that one girl could have so many true mate bonds. No real relationships yet, but I can’t wait.
