Absolutely worth it

absolutely amazing! The writing was captivating, the story was beautifully crafted, and every moment kept me hooked. The spice was on point—perfectly woven into the plot, making it even more engaging. The narration was exceptional, a true duet that elevated the entire experience. Each voice brought the characters to life in a way that felt authentic and immersive. Every detail, from the emotions to the chemistry between the characters, was delivered flawlessly. It’s one of those audiobooks that enhances the story so much that you don’t want it to end. Truly well done—I loved every second of it!

Better than the first

It was really great diving deeper into this world, the story, the characters. It is a rare thing for a sequel to be better than its predecessor yet this is one absolutely is! Love the voice actors they do a fantastic job 👍

Love this series!

I love the story and the narrator! I can't wait for the third book! The second book continues from where the first left off, and does have some time jumps between the past and present, but it is handled well.

Highly recommend to those who are looking for a good action/fantasy/romance story. This quickly became one of my favorites.

Nyte’s voice is drug like!!!!!

I am in lovvveeeee with the second book!!!! It was super spicy, extremely well paced, and so captivating!! I cannot wait for what happens next!!!! Lightsdeath is going to kill everyone and I’m here for it!!!!

A Mess.

I love the concept and the characters themselves, but this story is all over the place and really difficult to follow. Structure problems from book 1 became exacerbated in this story, I wish the author took longer to revise and edit rather than rushing to publish so fast after book 1.

Slow plot but interesting. Deep emotional moments.

This one was harder than the last to get through. The plot seemed to drag for the first 70-80% then it was something I couldn’t put down. The last 2 hours pulled at my heart strings and made me decide to grab the next one.

why can't the readers have emotions?!

This is a surprisingly okay story. it's slow but it has some decent emotional moments. however, what is wrong with the voices? the people who do these voices they can't even attempt to change their voice for the other characters or in the female's case sound like has any semblance of emotion. I feel like it's more difficult for me to listen to because they are both so monotone but at least the Male sounds like he's struggling to keep that voice not just giving up on life. This was a grind to get through because of the voices. the story itself wasn't half bad.
