Typical summer read

Another wonderful book by Kristen Hannah
Kristen Hannah seems to write about characters that I know and relate to. Summer Island touches on subjects that are relevant as much today as they were in 2002 when this book was published. As with many of her books the characters go through the process of healing broken relationships. This book was funny, heartbreaking, and joyful.

Awesome story
This was a wonderful tale of hurts caused by misunderstandings and years to get the truth out and repairs started. Each character was special and all changed as truth revealed

I think it's my age, but I love Kristin Hannah boo
I didn't love this book as much as Mystic Lake, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do like how Kristin Hannah's books are realistic and quite often show family life in a non-sugar coated way.
The narrators always make the book and Joyce Bean gets top marks.

Honest and raw
