Oh my, be still my heart.

What a wonderful story to get lost in… the time jumps are a little distracting but the story itself is so wonderful. Great choice of narrators. So easy to get invested in the story. I wish it was another hour or two longer. Pure bliss. Absolutely loved it!

Nice slow burn, not too graphic but still steamy! Loved the character development and angst!

The possibilities

My first book by Rebecca and I really enjoyed her writing. She blended past & present well.

I also enjoyed the characters themselves and was brought into their world seamlessly.

I struggle with one thing and it left a bad taste in my mouth that was hard to ignore. Maybe it's just a pet-peeve of mine, I don't know, but I don't like how much sleeping around Izzy and Nate did once they've met. It was like an open relationship, but like it wasn't? I don't know. It gave me the ick.
I love when a couple meet for the first time and their world is changed. Not this concept of looking forward to seeing them again but having side relationships on the way? It watered down their relationship.

I couldn’t put it down

Loved Izzy and Nate’s relationship. You can feel their chemistry and I loved the anual vacation idea. Great story, great narrators.
