Gives some useful info, but its a dry dry book
Overall im not sure if I would have purchased it after going through it, doesnt give any info you wont find somewhere else and the narrator sounds like Siri telling you the forecast. Its ok overall, just a little mediocre

Definitely a dry topic but the best book on this subject I’ve read
I recommend this to anyone unfamiliar with the home buying process. This book gives great details on what to expect, things to look out for and alternative options.

Good broad overview of home buying process plus some tips and considerations which is exactly what I was looking for. I feel I'm more aware of the pitfalls to avoid, how to save time/money/ energy/hassle, and what to expect as a first time home buyer.

Simple and real.
A very easy listen while going into basic details, the author has done a great job of putting her extensive practical knowledge and know how into a simple wording and easy to understand language. a must for all new home buyers which could save a lot of money and more importantly, avoid incremental stress over the mong run.

Dry but resourceful
It is as dry in content as expected but it taught my fiancé and I enough about the home buying process that we no longer sound ignorant and we realize what is being negotiated and why.

Great
The book was very detailed and informational. exactly what I was looking for. The author gives info on how lenders determine if you qualify, home inspections, realtors, and lists all the things you should be thinking about before you buy a home from saving to closing. this is not for investors but truly for someone who knows nothing about home buying, its a good book to start you off.
