More than half of the American population (56 percent) lives “paycheck to paycheck”. According to American Journal of Public Health 66.5 percent of all bankruptcies were driven by medical problems. The findings indicate each year 530,000 families suffer bankruptcies are linked to illness or medical bills. With the medical breakthrough in 2020, people are living much longer now. According to data from the Insured Retirement Institute in 2019, 45 percent of baby boomers are surveyed had no savings.
