I fully expected the usual ending but - without ruining it for others - that is not what I got. Well written and performed, well worth the listen!

Story was well written and author knew the subject well! The narrator is fantastic and I will look for more books she has narrated

Narrator makes a difference

The narrator sets the tone of an audio book. This one was great, really draws the scene with her narration. The story is sad and reflected of domestic violence victims. Enjoyed the book.

Had Me From The Beginning

Very well written psychological thriller - unputdownable. The ending was a bit off for me but not horrible.

Hidden Gem

This book started out heavy and depressing and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get through a book full of this type of heavy. Let me just say that I’m so happy that I listened. This book and performance was amazing!! Well worth a credit.

I could relate to the story. I felt for the victim and urged her on while listening.

Suspensful yet predictable. Relatable for those that are impacted by domestic abuse.

I really liked the entire book. Well read. Well written and flows nicely. Some things could be triggering for those impacted by domestic situations. I love that the abuser ends up actually paying for his crimes in the end, unlike most in real life.
