Yet another weak narrator

No idea whether it’s a good story. Could not even get through listening to the first chapter. Seriously. Audible needs to do a better job of auditioning and vetting its readers. My fourth grade teacher did a far superior job of reading novels aloud than the last few I’ve run across.

I usually just delete/return books with lousy narrators, and then carry on without comment. NO MORE. I’m going to review them from now on because the number of truly untalented readers seems to be increasing. Three stars max since I have no way of knowing whether the story is good.

If audible can’t figure out how to select narrators, maybe authors with low reviews will put pressure on them.

Narrator was the best I’ve heard yet! Really liked this book. Narration makes such a huge impact.

Very good mystery

This was a very good twisty mystery. Do you think you know what’s going to happen or what’s going on and you are fooled. I like the backdrop of the story and I like the characters

a new favorite author to follow!

Storyline had just enough suspense to keep you guessing, second guessing, then questioning your guesses. Very well done. on top the next one in this series with baited breath.

very enjoyable with humor too

i'm grateful this book was available on audible plus catalog because i'm hesitant to try new authors without hearing more than 5 minutes of a novel.
this character (heroine) is realistic, compassionate, complex and funny when possible.

Entertaining, slow in some spots.

The story was entertaining and suspenseful, but in a couple chapters the storyline would drag and lose me. Overall a good listen and made me interested in the next book.

overwhelming narrator

She try to not to be smooth and make her voice high and low which it’s really frustrating when you do something else and listening which the only reason I choose audiobooks!!!

Interesting who did story

I loved this book! The main character was great. It was a fun read. I wouldn’t eat to live in Nebraska though.

Boring, characters not well developed. Kept waiting for it to get more interesting but never happened.

Got to the end!

I found he narrator annoying and felt she didn't do Katy justice . I listen to a lot of books and often find "deals of the day" too awful to finish. Not the best literature for sale but not really bad either
