Another Wild & Twisted Ride! Amazing Story & Listen🎧

Wow, E.L. Emkey does it again and pens another amazing romantic suspense, the second book of her fantastic “Brotherhood” series and it is just as wild and twisted as the first book and just as impressive and captivating too. The first book, “The Devil’s Hunt”, is Archer’s and Mila’s story, and I recommend starting the series there, not only will you get the most of the incredible world building, but characters overlap into each other’s book and it is beneficial knowing their backstories. Also, you will meet other key characters, including Kai Montgomery, Archer’s sidekick in life and in the Brotherhood, a secret society, and Haven Benson. Kai’s and Haven’s story runs parallel to the timelines of the first book, and you see some events from their point of view, with everything being their own story, not just a repeat of events. I liked Kai from the first book, and thought he was a solid guy, and getting to know him even more and seeing him in a different light, I like him even more. He was hooked on Haven the moment he laid eyes on her, except she wasn’t his to have, but that did not stop him from pursuing her. Haven’s life was not a good one and her evil and controlling father was only half her problem, the other half was her equally controlling and evil brother, who just use her as a commodity in their world and personally. As much as Haven wants out of that life, she knows her brother and father will not let her go, and they would hurt anyone who tried to help her escape. Emkey weaves a complex web and there is never a dull moment in this multi-layered story, a cleverly plotted story that has plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Thank you for another amazing story and wild ride, chaos has never been this good or diabolical!

🎧📚🎧 Shiloh James and Nelson Hobbs were fantastic at voicing their characters and delivering a perfect portrayal of each, sounding believable in every role and situation. Both showcased every aspect of their characters’ personality, with James nailing it as Haven, and Hobbs as Kai, and they were just as amazing performing the roles of the side characters too. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. Their gripping performance is entertaining and holds your interest where nothing else matters except what is going to happen next in the story. These two were a perfect pairing, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that takes this already amazing story to another level.

Dark Legacy Romance

The Devil's Chaos by E.L. Emkey is a dark legacy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Shiloh James and Nelson Hobbs. This is the second book in The Brotherhood series.

This is the second book of E.L. Emkey's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kai and Haven. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series The Devil's Wrath to be released in April 2025 so I can get Theo and Wrenly's story.

Nelson and Shiloh did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance or romantic suspense.

AMAZING!

The devils chaos is book 2 in the brotherhood series. This follows Kai and Haven, Haven is the daughter and sister to the enemy they had no idea she even existed until Kai sees her. I still think Archer from the first book is my top book boyfriend, but Kai is my close second. Shiloh and Nelson did an amazing job narrating this book, I highly recommend listening to the audiobook!

Outstanding!!!!

Absolutely amazingly done! The author interweaved the first book and the second so effortlessly with the plots twist at the end shaking me to the core. The audiobook was brought to life wonderfully⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t even know what to say From page one you know this book is going to crush you. The trauma that Haven has gone through and is living, ugh! Tore my heart out. Kai is just what she needs. Someone who will love her and give her something to live for. Their love is epic. They are made for each other. Haven is strong and fierce. Kai is so possessive and protective. I absolutely love this book and wish that my life allowed me to sit and read it in one sitting I wish I could read it for the first time again. This one is going to stay with me for a long time. I like the series after book one I absolutely love it after book 2. What the hell is Book three going to bring fantastic job Emily!!!


🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧

I read this book in October 2024 and absolutely loved it!! The relationship between Haven and Kai. The pain she goes through and the struggle Kai is facing. I absolutely love how strong and resilient Haven is and how possessive and protective Kai is. I wished I could read it for the first time again. Well, listening to the audiobook is as close to that as you can get and it was fantastic. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing Kai and Haven to life. They helped me get lost in their world again and I truly can’t wait to see what happens next. Book 3 The Devils Wrath coming soon!!!!!

😍I thought archer was my top book boyfriend but Kai has stepped above him.
Haven is the daughter/ sister to the enemies of the brotherhood . Kai is sent to keep an eye on Mila dad when he locks eyes with haven . They are instantly drawn to each other and Kai stops at nothing to make and keep haven. They have a love that is beautiful and strong. They go through some ups and downs. Kai and the brotherhood needs to eliminate the collects who happen to be haven family for haven to truly be free of her life.
