I loved this book! It is clean, smart, funny- perfection!! I am really enjoying this series!!!

Enjoyed this book despite the title

I hate Halloween and ghosts, etc. so I hesitated getting this book. I bought it with the idea that if it is ghoulish, creepy, and dark that I would return it. Surprise! It was just as intriguing, creative, and enjoyable as the previous books. I enjoy the humor among the mystery. This series is becoming one of my favorite series to listen to. For a while I have been searching for a new series because all of the series that I enjoy listening to have ended or are about to. I was beginning to worry that I wouldn’t be able to find any more series that I could enjoy. Karen Menuhin is an excellent writer. There are no dragging areas in the stories. The story continues to keep moving and the humor is great. I love Sam Dewhurst-Phillips in this series. His narrating makes the story and Lennox so right.

This series is amazing! Karen keeps you on your toes when trying to identify the killer!!

Heathcliff / Lennox is a delightful hero and he grows with each book. A kind intelligent man finding his own strength after his service in World War I. Love his dog and cat. Enjoy his friends

Scottish history bound in a clever , well written plot

This is my third by this author and though I am not fond of Halloween related themes (somewhat peripheral but still part of atmosphere,) I
enjoy this author’s writing , vocabulary and humor. Reader/ performer is one of the best I have ever experienced and will look for his name on other audible books!
