This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... The subject matter is involved, technical, and extremely precise. However, if you have graduated the fifth grade, there is no barrier. After all, the Authorised Version was appointed to be read in churches. It was also the textbook used to teach reading and writing in schools here in America. Our children were taught to read so that they could read the Bible.
All that said, I also like that the books and chapters are laid out so navigating is easy.
