beautifully read and read at just the right pace

I liked the classic King James translation which included the Apocrypha. It makes it easy to move from the audible book into prayer.

Christopher Glyn is a very good reader

The only fault I've found so far is his machine-gun delivery of the genealogy lists. David Suchet is a better narrator, but only reads the NIV, which I don't like.

I mistakenly purchased quite a few Audible books just for the story, but cannot listen to because the reader is so bad. Rookie mistakes. I'm more careful now.

Outstanding

Phenomenal performance of a superb English translation—perhaps THE English translation. Highly recommended, especially for Catholics.
